Now that everyone has figured out what the SEC and ND we’re doing to dominate the playoff spots, I am having a hard time understanding why any other conference would do anything, but counter with dominating the playoff with Conference Champions.

I still think you don’t need to add a single game if you take the highest ranked Conference Champions. That makes just about every Conference Champion Game matter. It makes so we don’t have to watch the SEC regular season rerun in the playoff. It makes it so an undefeated G-5 has the best chance they have ever had.

Notre Dame and the SEC are two votes and even in 4 years when it’s the majority instead of unanimous, the others will want to make sure they won’t dominate the playoff now that they can see that’s what they wanted to do with the June 2021 proposal.
